A Porcelain Heart (a poem)

I thought it was barb wire

That was long before it caught fire

I thought it was hard steel

But that was before it was forced to kneel

I thought it was repaired enough to stay intact

But that was before you destroyed my pact

After you came into my heart

I knew that there was no way I could remove your vital part

Because I learned I really had a porcealen heart
